I spent 11 years as a CFO before founding a fintech company called Glean. When we ran into a trademark conflict over our brand name, I discovered firsthand how frustrating it is to monitor trademarks with existing tools. USPTO.gov felt stuck in 2005, and the enterprise tools I looked at ran roughly $10,000–$20,000 a year — built for large law firms, not growing companies.

After our company was acquired, I built GleanMark to solve that problem. We connect to USPTO data in real time, tracking status changes, assignment transfers, similar mark filings, and USPTO citations. Our goal is to give founders, brand managers, and IP professionals the trademark intelligence they need—in seconds, not hours.
