Add Your Firm's Logo to Clearance Reports
Firm branding puts your firm's logo and name on the clearance reports you share with clients, so the report looks like your own work product. It applies to the PDF and Word exports of a clearance report. On Max, your monthly client reports carry the logo too.
Where to Find It
Open the menu under your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Organization, then look for the Firm branding card on the Profile tab (/settings/organization). Branding belongs to a firm workspace, so switch into your firm's workspace first; a personal workspace has no firm branding. Only the firm's owners and admins see the Firm branding card.
Set It Up
- Upload your logo. Click Upload logo and choose a PNG or JPG file, up to 5 MB. A horizontal logo on a transparent or white background works best, at least 120 pixels tall. It appears large on the report cover and small in the page header.
- Add a cover tagline (optional). Up to 120 characters, shown under your firm name on the cover. For example: "Prepared by the Trademark Group at Priya & Co."
- Turn it on. Switch on Use my firm's branding on client clearance reports. It stays off until you turn it on, and it needs a logo first.
From then on, every clearance report you export as PDF or Word carries your logo and firm name. A small "Powered by GleanMark" line stays in the report footer, which many firms prefer because it documents the search as tool-assisted.
To change the logo, click Replace logo. Clicking Remove deletes the logo and turns branding off, and your reports go back to standard GleanMark branding.
Which Plans Include It
- Max: included.
- Starter and Professional: available as an add-on for $49 a month. On the Firm branding card, click Add firm branding for $49/month. A confirmation screen shows what is due today (the rest of your current billing month, prorated), the card on file, and your new monthly total before anything is charged. The add-on is billed with your existing plan. Only the account owner, who manages billing, can add it; other admins see a note to ask them.
- Free trials: the add-on can be added once your plan is paid.
If your firm is in a free branding period, the card shows when it ends, with a Keep firm branding button. Adding the add-on then costs nothing today; the first $49 is on your next bill.
You can also upgrade to Max, which includes firm branding along with more usage. If you already pay for the add-on, upgrading to Max removes the $49 charge automatically, with a prorated credit.
Cancel the Add-On
The account owner goes to Settings → Billing. Under Add-ons, find Firm branding add-on and click Cancel. Your clearance reports go back to standard GleanMark branding right away, and a prorated credit for the unused time is applied to your next invoice. Your logo stays saved, so you can turn branding back on later.
Tips
- Check the cover before sending. Export one report as PDF after turning branding on, to see how your logo sits on the cover and in the header.
- Use a wide logo. Square or tall logos shrink to fit the header and can look small.
- Not seeing your logo on a report? Make sure you are in your firm's workspace, a logo is uploaded, and the branding switch is on.
