The USPTO on steroids.

Jason Rosenblum monitors trademarks for roughly 700 clients from a mostly remote practice. His firm runs on Google, so Gemini is a daily tool, and he knows Claude and ChatGPT. None of them can search the register the way Markus can.

“I love that GleanMark is basically the USPTO website on steroids. But in addition to having robust search functions and very clean trademark pages, it has clearance, docketing, ROA drafting, watch services, and automated client reporting all under one roof. I save hours each month, my practice saves money, and my clients are better served as a result.”

  • ~700 clients monitored
  • Primarily remote

Jason H. Rosenblum has practiced trademark law since 2003 and has run his own firm, the Law Office of Jason H. Rosenblum, PLLC, since 2009 — offices in Brooklyn and Charleston, now primarily remote. The firm monitors trademarks for roughly 700 clients, more than 500 of them direct and the rest as co-counsel for other law firms, and a meaningful share of the work comes through foreign associates: overseas firms that send him their US filings and their US questions.

He is not new to trademark software. He has used the same trademark search platform for close to a decade and still does; GleanMark went in alongside it, not instead of it. What follows is what it added.

An AI that can see the register

Jason is not new to AI either. His firm is built on Google Workspace, so Gemini is one click away and he uses it constantly; he has worked with Claude and ChatGPT. General AI knows trademark doctrine. What it does not have is the register itself, so questions about what is actually registered get answered by guesswork. Markus sits on GleanMark's own copy of the public USPTO trademark records and answers by querying it — which changes what a question can even be. The merely-descriptive rebuttal hunt every prosecutor knows normally takes carefully constructed query syntax. In Markus it takes a sentence.

In his words: “The benefit that Markus has over Claude or ChatGPT — or Gemini, I use Gemini a lot because my whole firm is built on Google Apps — none of them can search the USPTO like Markus can.”

“The game changer is an AI that can see everything in the USPTO. I ask in plain English — find me registrations with 'computer' where it isn't disclaimed — and it just does it.”
— Jason H. Rosenblum, Managing Member, Law Office of Jason H. Rosenblum, PLLC

For first-pass work, the Knockout search carries the other half of the load: “The Knockout I've been using like crazy — especially if a client just emails me a name.”

Thirty minutes instead of ninety

The example Jason reaches for is a real matter, told here without any identifying details.

An overseas firm he works with — a referral relationship that sends him US work — had an extension of time to oppose filed against their client's application. They emailed Jason their questions.

He pasted the email into Markus.

Markus analyzed the potential opposer's portfolio and pulled its TTAB history — how often it opposes, how litigious it actually is — and drafted the reply email to the foreign associate. Jason dropped in his own fee structure for handling an opposition, spent a few minutes reading and adjusting, and sent a polished, complete answer. Under thirty minutes, by his estimate, against roughly ninety by hand.

The quality mattered as much as the clock: “There was little to correct. The output was very impressive on that one. It had to think more like a trademark attorney, and the output was pretty impressive.”

And the audience mattered most of all. The firm on the other end of that email sends him work. Being fast and thorough there is not a convenience — it is how the next file arrives.

“When a foreign associate emails me a question, I can send back a researched, polished answer within the hour. That's how referral relationships are kept.”
— Jason H. Rosenblum, Managing Member, Law Office of Jason H. Rosenblum, PLLC

He treats it like an associate

Jason's posture toward AI is the one GleanMark is built for: the attorney reviews, decides, and signs everything. “I treat AI pretty much as an associate. I'll let it do a draft, and then I'll say — okay, how come you didn't talk about this? Or, that point makes no sense, get rid of that.”

That posture is also what makes the drafting tool useful from day one. A fresh office action goes straight in, before any drafting time is invested:

“When we first get an office action, I can plug it right in and see what the drafting comes up with. Does it make sense? Do we have a strong argument? Sometimes it's like, wow, okay, we have a better argument than I thought.”
— Jason H. Rosenblum, Managing Member, Law Office of Jason H. Rosenblum, PLLC

What he tells other trademark attorneys

He ripped nothing out. He added the one thing Gemini, Claude and ChatGPT could not give him — and, in his own summary, a good deal more under one roof. Asked how he would describe GleanMark to another trademark attorney:

“If you want the most AI-focused trademark search and docketing software, GleanMark is the way to go.”
— Jason H. Rosenblum, Managing Member, Law Office of Jason H. Rosenblum, PLLC
