The Billing & Subscription page shows your current plan, monthly usage, payment method, and invoices. Upgrade or change plans, manage seats, and apply promo codes from here.

How to Access

Go to Settings > Billing (/settings/billing). The page is titled Billing & Subscription.

What's on the Page

Current Subscription

Your active plan tier (Free, Starter, Professional, or Max), price, status, and next billing date. If you're on a trial, the remaining days are shown.

Usage This Month

A "Usage This Month" card shows how much of your monthly allowance you've used, with quotas resetting on the 1st of each month:

  • Knockout Searches
  • OA Drafts
  • Markus AI Messages
  • Clearance Reports

Each row shows usage against your plan's included amount (or "unlimited" where applicable).

Seat Management

For Professional and Max plans (organization mode), manage the number of seats in your organization. Each seat adds capacity for an additional team member.

Payment Method

View your saved card. Click Update to open the Stripe customer portal, where you add, change, or remove your payment method.

Invoice History

View and download past invoices.

Promo Code

Apply a promotional code for discounts or extended trials.

Changing Plans

Use the Upgrade Plan (or Change Plan) button on the Current Subscription card to open the plan picker and switch tiers. Changes take effect immediately with prorated billing. You can move up or down between plans the same way — there's no separate downgrade request.

Cancellation

Use the Cancel Subscription button at the bottom of the page. The cancellation flow collects a short bit of feedback, and your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Tips

  • Check usage regularly — the "Usage This Month" card shows how close you are to your plan's monthly allowances
  • Apply promo codes before upgrading — some promotions only work on specific tiers
  • Annual billing is discounted versus paying monthly — see the current annual savings on the Billing page when you open the plan picker
