Client Reporting · Included with Max
When the USPTO acts on a client’s mark, GleanMark writes the update in your firm’s name and sends it, or holds it for your review. Each client also gets a weekly or monthly report with your logo.
Hi Mattel, Inc.,
Good news on HOT WHEELS UNLEASHED. The USPTO examining attorney has approved your application, and it is scheduled to be published in the Official Gazette on September 15, 2026.
Application No. 99811269
Publication opens a 30-day window in which someone else can object. Most applications pass through it without an objection. We’re watching, and we’ll tell you if anything is filed.
One thing to watch for: once your mark is listed publicly, you may start getting official-looking invoices offering “registration” or “monitoring” services. They are not from the USPTO and not from us.

Status emails
For each one, choose Send automatically, Review before sending, or Off. Set a default for the firm and change it for any client.
Filed, waiting for an examiner, and nothing needed from the client yet.
The examiner responded: the response deadline, and the date and fee to extend it.
What “final” does and does not mean, with the deadline.
The publication date, and a warning about official-looking scam invoices.
Approved but not yet registered, and why proof of use comes next.
Thirty days out: asks the client for a picture of the mark in use and the date of first sale.
The registration number, when to start using ®, and the next maintenance filing.
The maintenance filing was accepted and the registration stays in force.
Renewed for another ten years.
The status changed, and a revival may still be possible.
Client reports
A short email with the highlights, and the full report attached as a PDF with your logo on the cover. Send it every Monday or on the first of the month, and skip it when there is nothing new.
Four sections, and you can turn off any you don’t want:
How many marks are registered and how many applications are pending.
What your watches found for this client in the period, with logo look-alikes shown as pictures. No similarity scores to explain.
Allowances, publications, office actions, Section 8 acceptances and renewals on the client’s marks.
Open deadlines on the client’s marks, soonest first.
It comes from your firm
Emails go out as “Your Firm via GleanMark,” or under a sender name you choose.
Replies go to the attorney of record on the mark, who is copied by default. Or pick one address for all of them.
Edit any email, drop in fields like the mark, the deadline or a link to the record, and send yourself a test first.
Clients need no account. Each email has a one-click unsubscribe, and an address that bounces for good stops getting mail.
Facts, not advice
The judgment stays with you.
Every update reports what the USPTO did and what is due, from the record itself. GleanMark does not give your client legal advice. When an office action arrives, the default email says your firm is reviewing it, and the strategy is yours to write.
Clients stop wondering what is happening with their marks, and you stop writing the same status email by hand.
Client Reporting is part of the Max plan. Book a demo and we’ll walk through it with you.
Example marks, dates and deadlines are Mattel’s USPTO records as of September 27, 2026. The firm and attorney are placeholders, and Mattel is not a GleanMark customer.
